Medway Council's award-winning Visitor Information Centre in Rochester is the ideal first port of call for visitors to the area. Whether you are planning a day trip or short-break in Medway, a warm welcome awaits you.

As well as providing a professional and friendly service, visitors will find all the reference material anyone could wish for, with maps, booklets and leaflets to introduce each attraction and a wide selection of souvenirs from which to choose.

Other facilities at the centre include:

  • Rochester Art Gallery and Craft Case on the ground floor;
  • Huguenot Museum on the first floor;
  • Nancy's Cafe with inside and outside seating areas where visitors can buy hot and cold refreshments
  • Dedicated coach setting down and pick-up point at the rear of the centre for group visitors.
  • The centre is in the heart of historic Rochester and is wheelchair friendly.
