From women's work in munitions, food shortages and rationing to leisure, entertainment and women's football. From a Spanish Flu pandemic to the sudden end to the war and the start of the Save The Children charity, a talk about how British women lived during the Great War.

Individual lectures are priced at £4 each, with the Christmas lecture priced at £5 including seasonal refreshments.

Tickets are available in advance by credit card, cheque or cash from the library where the lectures are happening.

The series is presented by Medway Council’s Arts Development Team in collaboration with Medway Libraries.
