Meangate is Medway's extreme cross country obstacle course run on the rolling hills and woods of Deangate Ridge Sports Complex.
Along the 8km purpose-built course you'll navigate your way across almost 50 obstacles designed to challenge your strength, stamina and resolve.
They include tunnels, scramble nets, inflatables, straw bale hurdles, tyre walls, slides, ladders and walls, plus natural obstacles including hills, trenches, swamps, ponds and mud.
The extreme course challenges experienced runners as well as being a realistic test for younger ones and newcomers. There are also 4km and 16km routes available for the first time this year.
So whether you want to try your first obstacle course run or are looking for a great challenge at an affordable price, Meangate is for you. The event is open to children aged 11 or over, although children aged 16 or under must run with a responsible adult.
